Prophet Ibrahim (a.s) felt that same fear for his children, so he turned to the only One who controls hearts:

رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي

**“My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [also] from my descendants.”** (Quran 14:40)
