Since the October 2025 so-called ceasefire was declared, Israelβs genocidal slaughter has continued unabated, killing 1,170 Palestinians in Gaza and injuring 3,800 as of today.
Hospitals remain in ruins or are barely functioning, hundreds of thousands of forcibly displaced Palestinians remain in tents and other makeshift shelters, and the Israeli army is entrenching its control of more than 60 percent of Gazaβs territory.
Joining us from Gaza to talk about the current situation is Dorotea Gucciardo. She is there as part of her work with Glia, a medical solidarity organization based in Canada.
She tells us both about the stark realities and struggles people are facing in Gaza, as well as some of the ways she is seeing them show resourcefulness and joy amid the ongoing genocide.
